When your story needs more than one post
A multi-part post lets you divide a longer experience into connected parts instead of squeezing it into one image or a difficult-to-follow block of text. Parts can include text, photos and videos.
For a trip, start with your plan, give a restaurant visit its own part, then continue with the next destination. Open comments from the relevant part to keep that discussion in context, and use Back to return to the sequence.
Review your content and publishing status
Check text and media before submitting, and only share media you have permission to use. Videos need time to upload and process. Check the content’s status in your profile rather than assuming it is published when the composer closes.
If a failure and retry option appear, check your connection and use that option. Avoid submitting the same post repeatedly while processing is underway, which can create duplicates.
Interact and choose your privacy settings
Join conversations with likes, comments and replies, and save content you want to revisit. Choose privacy settings that suit your profile and content before sharing; do not assume everything you publish is private by default.
Use the app’s reporting options for impersonation, abuse or content that breaks the rules. You can also block a user. Keep sensitive personal information out of public posts and comments.
